My dad went to South Dakota recently for a pheasant hunt and ended up getting a few Tail feathers and a few capes so I had to learn the pattern! Let me know what you guys think!

I personally like your version @2047790892203248 better than the longer, thinner versions. I think it more closely mimics the “clinger” nymphs that are the most prevalent species in my waters. Most of my streams have lots of faster water with rocky, rough bottoms, perfect hideouts for the clingers. The size ranges you suggest are a bit larger than I find so a 10 is a biggie hereabouts. 14-16 are closer matches in my waters but your profile is absolutely spot on. Nicely done.

Excellent pattern and well tied, I agree with what Bill said. And some fresh features from Dad to boot. Great job Miteyquin.

Thank you all for the positivity, I’ve really been trying to get better at both getting original patterns down and kinda working to make it fit the style I’m fishing, again you all always are so kind thank you so much! @grayghost @Scarpino @trublubug
