No fly to show here, but had to share this brook trout from last October. Quick photo on the leaves and released.

They put the fall leaves to shame Jon. Great pic!

Jon, are you still interested in the instructions for beaded, articulating hellgrammite pattern? I've found a better, easier, and more effective "mite" pattern. Let me know if you want the "beaded" version instructions.

Thanks Bill, I'll take whichever pattern you think would be best. All of your hellgrammite patterns looked great. Also, I saw your caddis larva made with micro chenille, Krystal flash rib and peacock herl collar. That pattern I liked a lot too. Tons of caddis where I am it seems.

Hi Jon. Left you a message at the articulated Mite pattern you were asking about. Glad to share but am thinking the two patterns might be combined, one the beaded body and the other, the faux leather cut out.

Dumb question, but where do I find the message?

Guess I should have said "comment" not " message Jon. Check the photo of the beaded Mite pattern. Use articulated mite as the search.

"Articulated Hellgrammite Trimmed" is the posted photo with the message. If you would like to communicate more directly, post an email address where I could send you instructions.

Hi Jon. Do you still want info on that articulated hellgrammite? I hate to post long messages here so I'm waiting for your decision on email addresses. Hope I'm not being annoying.

Hi Bill: e-mail is: [email protected] I really like the articulated hellgrammite Li. However, I'll take whatever you recommend. Also, thank you for your willingness to share the recipe.
