I saw a similar pattern posted on a forum recently. This is my take on it. Red yarn tag with two white flake sili leg tails. Black yarn body over a few wraps of .025 lead wire. Black Tungsten bead head. White antron yarn under shellback with clear flashabou over that. Swishers wiggle hackle in black for a leggy thorax. I plan to use for #panfish and imagine it a great pattern for stained water or cloudy days... anytime a dark profile is wanted. This is tied on a long shank nymph hook size 14.
