Now you knew from our discussions concerning the LaBomba pattern that I’d have to try a black and blue version of your Cheeto fly didn’t you Martin????

Same basic pattern as Martin’s original. Substituted in blue biots for tail, black dubbing for abdomen, blue dubbing for thorax, blue dyed grizzly hackle, and Mylar sheet for the wing case.

Sorry, ribbing substitution uses blue wire and blue crystal flash.

Beautiful fly. I would love to see one in a Great Lakes steelhead color. Maybe Orange and chartreuse.

@685766380 I knew I’d get a great comment from you when I posted the blue and black one Martin. I think this pattern is going to be killer here. @AndyPat Thanks for the compliment. Your suggestion for an orange and chartreuse combo has me getting ready for another tying session. Which parts would you favor in which color? Too many possibilities and variations on the orange and chartreuse colors.
