Unnecessarily complicated pattern. First attempt needs modifications but thought I’d post one that didn’t turn out as I’d hope. Maybe next time.

Thanks Geoff. Lots of hopper patterns that are much, much easier and just as, if not more, effective. I’ll be fiddling with this one.

Awesome realism Bill, there's a ton of skill involved in this tie. I'll bet this one would catch like crazy. Could you post an underneath view? I can see a little bit of the segmented body in this photo but I'd really like to see the fish-eye view.

I think it looks good there are flies that catch fish and flies that catch fishermen I think that does both nice work
