Mark, an interesting observation on this pattern. In my waters it seems more effective when I don’t use the fine fibers along the sides of the marabou but rather the fluff at the base of the feathers. No real conclusive test on this, just a notion.
This does however give a use to the part of the feather I would normally toss.
