Struggling to capture the image clearly. I'm trying to show the critical "see through" halo effect. The fibers of the sparkle yarn (Antron) need to be applied completely around the body veiling it but not hiding it. Hard to get the effect I want to show using the iPhone. This one is weighted to fish subsurface. LaFontaine's original pattern has been copied and modified to death. Scope out the net to find a photo of one he tied himself to see the correct "veiling".

When they are on maturing pupae, this one and the emerger sparkle pupa are unbelievably effective. Guess that time LaFontaine spent underwater in SCUBA gear was worth every second. It's a short lived event and I fish the larva a lot more since they are available longer. When they are feeding on pupae, I don't think there is a better pattern. Thanks for the compliment Janne.
