Is it the exact pattern as your photo (regarding the colors), or is the "magnet" the style of fly? I can see this being deadly in olive shades in smaller sizes, also a killer in sulphurs, pale orange and even as a white bodied fly. Thanks for any suggestions you might share Peder.
Bill; It´s the style that is the fishmagnet, you can tie this one with any color you like. Another style of this pattern is that if you place the wings backwards over the extended body and wrap the hackle around the hook shank, goes as a caddis or a needle fly if you like.

Thanks for the reply Peder. I also like this using a thin foam cylinder for the body. Everything else is tied the same.
The foam version also makes an excellent strike indicator when fishing those "wee" wets down in the water column.
