Always wanted to tie a shrimp pattern in the classic sea-run colours black and red. As I like to use mallard as legs on a shrimpfly, I decided to do them in a red/orange colour and give the rest of the body a dark dubbing. The legs will give the fly lots of movement and the contrast between body and legs will make it a good choice for fishing in coloured water - that’s the plan?
