Wait just a minute there Martsu. Thatās no fly rod and reel. LOL. Great photo and quite the catch.
I canāt match or beat this feat since my state fishing regulations limit you to 3 hooks per line/rod/reel.
Not counting schooling panfish, Iāve only ever had a single triple catch on one cast in all my decades of fly fishing. They were all trout, newly stocked, and none to choosy about what fly they would take since each ate a different pattern (beetle indicator, dry ant, black diamond midge). They were also quite small, all averaging around 10 inches or less. Newly stocked trout are often quite foolish.
My triple play didnāt happen all at once either. Beetle got eaten first, first little trout dragged the other flies around, and each fly was taken individually, not all about the same time.
This is one very cool photo and you are forgiven for using spinning gear. LOL LOL LOL.
Thank's for forgiveness to using wrong kind of fishing tools this time š¤.LOL,LOL.
Ćt is holiday time anyhow.
This fish type is Pollock (pollachius virensis),
Wish great catch and tight lines to everyone . ; )
