Just fooling around trying to tie a small hopper pattern.
Just a craft store foam glued up (brown over tan) body, golden pheasant tail wings, yellow brown round silicon legs, with a red and black perm marker color job, and 2mm gold eyes. All on a size 10 3XL hook.
Just a touch of glue on the tips to keep them together. The foam body is tapered so the wing lays back along the sides naturally. I like to use a bit of Flexament on the inside of the wing for durability. A few fish and the wing becomes shredded if you don’t. This really was an experiment Kevin. I usually tie in the wing as a single feather (hen back) lying flat along the dorsal surface.
