Grahame, do you use anything besides a scissors to trim your deer hair muddler heads? As Pieter said, I also can’t get such a perfect looking cut. Beautiful.

Thank you very much for the kind comments guys👍I just use my Tiemco scissors Bill great scissors for trimming deer hair as with most flys I thought it looked better before I took the photo.

you have a great eye and deft touch Grahame. the balance and proportion on your ties always leaves me in awe.

It appears that you did not include the squirrel tail wing beneath the turkey wing. The squirrel tail serves to support the turkey wing and results in a nicer profile. This fly is still very nice but in my opinion it would have been even better if the wing was a bit wider and at a higher angle.
