Anyone have any good patterns to use these on? I’ve been thinking mayfly but was wondering if there’s any others these would look good on

Those look like they would make great realistic wings. What are they exactly? They definitely represent mayfly wings accurately. As far as other insects, They would make great dragonfly wings and maybe even spent caddis wings if you tied them flat.

I tied them with the intent to use them as mayfly Wings, using a YouTube video on how to make them, (I can link it if you’d like) and I just don’t know a good pattern for mayflies. And they’re large grizzly Hackle feathers thank you by the way for always being so positive on all my pictures! @Krawec

Well they sure look good, I normally tie these wings with mallard flank but these might look better. As far as patterns you can tie pretty much any common mayfly pattern with the "Wally" or "origami" wings. Patterns like Adams, royal coachman, PDM's, BWO's, etc work with these and it just adds realism. You're welcome regarding the positivity, your ties deserve it. Tight lines.
