Swap Opal Mirage for the yellow seal's fur body and rib it with fine silver wire. Add a couple of strands of pearl flash to the wing. Good for imitating pin fry.

Love Invictas Colin it's all in the wings and that's a lovely one as a matter of interest what do you prefer for wings

Hi Grahame, I much prefer Hen Pheasant tail for Invicta wings. The shape and low profile just looks better to me than paired Hen Pheasant secondaries. I also like to tied a long-shank version of this fly right up to size 6 to match the size of the natural fry, so Hen Peasant tail is long enough to cope with the larger sizes.

Worth spending time (and money) on finding the best quality Pheasant tail feathers. There is some very poor quality feathers on the market so make sure you invest in the best, it makes tying the wings so much easier.
