Not had a problem with line twist I use tipper rings with a shorter section of topper and that seems to help.
This pattern is meant tone high and dry for targeting panfish that hide below the lilies on the backwaters of the Mississippi. It works effectively for weeding out the smaller fish. I also end up catching some bonus bass on it as well. With casting around the lilies it helps to have a simple fly that I don't mind losing one from time to time.
