Very nicely done Raimund. Is it renovation or recycling???? LOL I have a small hook box consisting of eight 25x25 mm squares filled with gravel from the streams where the cased caddis imitations have been especially useful. Now I just build a cylindrical underbody and coat it with superglue. I then roll/dip it into the “right” colored gravel for the particular stream I want to fish. Of course, I can blend the gravels to get the best match so color variations are pretty much infinite. Your way seems much easier!!!!

Thanks Bill. I was too lazy to roll them up. I put epoxy in and out and let it dry. And it’s the optimal Size what’s living in the River

Wouldn’t call your way lazy at all Raimund. Resourceful is the word I’d use.

That is a really nice bug...The sand adds weight also?

@relgiad thanks! But it’s not a secret. Just a way to create a cool pattern. Have fun while tying it and let me know about the result.
