Thanks Kevin! Of course I can share. Both the tail and legs are made out of wire. Any fairly rigid wire works, I used an old guitar string and find it works well. Just cut a piece of wire for the tail and put it in the vice. Tie in olive marabou and copper wire. Wrap the marabou and copper wire and whip finish, leaving a bit of bare wire so you can tie it into the hook after. Once the tail is complete, tie it onto the hook. I used a size 12 streamer with a 5/32 gold bead (if you have some small tying eyes instead of a bead I think It would look great, I just didn't have them on hand). The legs are made out of the same wire as the tail. Cut smaller pieces of wire and tie them on the under side of the fly and then bend them to shape. Figure 8 around the legs to make them hold tight. you can also wrap thread around the legs a bit. Lastly, tie and wrap olive marabou around the body and in between the legs. Whip finish and complete.
