i think i finally nailed it not hard to tie but time consuming
HOOK/long shank saltwater 7/0
ANTENNA/stripped peacock herl colored black
EYES/heavy monofilament melted down and colored black
HEAD/dubbing i mixed up
CLAWS/pheasent tail feather tips coated with clear nail polish and cut to shape
LEGS/orange maribou colored a little with a black sharpie
BODY/dubbing i mixed up
WEIGHT/flattened lead extending from hookeye to about 1/4 up the shank
SHELL BACK AND TAIL/thin orange foam colored and cut to shape
Definitely nailed it Rob. This is a beauty. Should be a smallmouth killer. (Carp too).
