In general configuration I’d say you are correct Zeke. It does look quite a bit like one. I use Montana nymphs in many color combinations, not just the original black and yellow as searching patterns in waters where there is little surface activity. These Cheeto flies of Martin B’s are another pattern I think will produce almost anywhere.
When Patrick asked about the orange/ chartreuse color combo, I also immediately thought of the original colors on the LaBomba fly.
