Hi Chris. Is this a real crawler? Do you fish it by crawling it along the bottom? Does it get hung up much? I hate tying flies that take more time to tie then to lose. It's a great looking pattern and I'll give it a try, but I'm wondering if I can remove the first hook point and tie the second one point up. Any thoughts?
Hello there. Pattern can be tied with one hook instead of two. You could tie it upside down but make sure you bend the hook so it still looks natural. Add weight under thorax if desired or fish with splitshot a foot or two above. tight lines, Chris Turner
