I like the blend of colors/materials on this one. I don’t fish salt often so I think I’d like to try this in a small size to imitate the male Eastern Blacknose Dace in its breeding colors. Your pattern is pretty much dead on for the dace, I’d only need a black stripe lateral line to make the match. Thanks for posting this.
@trublubug sorry for not posting the size -i used a Gamakatsu F314, #2 - but you can use a stinger hook as well. I have tided them on a size #6 as well. Total length on this is about 11-12 cm. I used resin for the head - normally I use Soralez - but this one is coated with bugbond. I like this colors as well!
Thanks for the suggestion Roar. In its breeding colors, my male dace are golden brown on their dorsal side. Your colors are perfect for a match. I really only need to add a black lateral stripe to your pattern.
