CDC-Shrimp-Flies
Just love that pattern. Here tied with pink/white, hot orange/white an blue dun CDC. As Dubbing I used Spirit Rivers Diamond Brite Dubbing in UV Pearl and UV Hares Ear - great dubbing btw. In front I used Crystal Flash Pearl on the Blue Dun and som "strands" of icebear on the others. Tied on Gamakatsu F314 #6 - which has become my favourite allround hook. Rather thin hook, so I mostly weighten it.

Dandy pattern Patrik!!!! I dont fish seatrout as I'm landlocked, but I do copy some of these "shrimp" patterns to use as soft shell crayfish imitations. I'm wondering if there would be any issue with tying this with the hook barb up and substituting weighted eyes?

I'm sure it will work👍 Looking forward to see the result - maybe an alternative for me to try out as well😉 Don't forget to post Your pattern here☺👏👏👏

Hi Patrik, please check out Christoffer Olofsson's Honey Shrimp just posted. He used the hook point up method and even made a "tail" with the shell back material excess. Just exactly what I was thinking of doing. We all seem to be thinking along the same lines. I'd add some feather claws to make his pattern more anatomically correct for a crayfish.
