Been busy for quite a while. Working on a brand new version of Flyflasher - both for iPhone and iPad! Looking into Android as well. New features, new design, new experience.

I was inspired by Janis Gotsis baitfish imitations when I tied these. I have no experience in tying in stingers, so I made them without.

Hook: Ahrex NS172 size 6
Thread: Tan
Wing: White bucktail, pearl flash, green flash, 5-8 white and grizzly chartreuse flat wing hackles.
Eyes: 4mm 3D yellow pupil eyes
Head: UV Loon soft glue

I like the long, lean look of these Martin.

Thanks Bill! I'm a bit worried that these wont hook the seatrouts, but let's see!

Martin I would just like to say thank you for all the work you have put in to create fly flasher, it has been a great aid for me in learning new patterns and ideas as well as meeting fly fishermen from all over the world thanks again Martin much appreciated

they certainly look the part. there isn't an absolute need for the stinger but I like to tie them that way because I like the bigger flies. should work exceptionally well on the sea run brown in the spring when they're chasing Tobis.. All in all a great tie..
