Great look to the “bomber” patterns Michael.
Wondering if you use a coat of superglue on the hook before winding the peacock or are the hackle windings sufficient to keep the herl from being ripped apart after a few fish?

Hi Bill some very fine wired or glue would toughen them up a bit but I just tie up a bunch and change them if they get chewed up. The saddle hackle is pretty robust so they aren’t too fragile.
