Great look to the “bomber” patterns Michael. Wondering if you use a coat of superglue on the hook before winding the peacock or are the hackle windings sufficient to keep the herl from being ripped apart after a few fish?

Hi Bill some very fine wired or glue would toughen them up a bit but I just tie up a bunch and change them if they get chewed up. The saddle hackle is pretty robust so they aren’t too fragile.

Thanks Michael. This is another one to add to the already over-filled vest pocket fly boxes.
