I can see why this is effective Kenan. You have captured the natural’s translucence with the materials you’ve used. I’m guessing they also trap air bubbles. That would mimic the real insects transformation from larva to pupa to emerging adult. The ribbing sparkle must do the same thing.
I see a similarity between this fly and the LaFontaine Sparkle Emerger. That pattern has been very good to me and bad for the trout. Your pattern gets added to my “have to try this one” list. I’m falling behind on that list, so please stop tying and posting patterns I can’t resist. LOL😹😹😹
