I pretty much try to use venery pheasant in every fly I tie. If you haven’t checked them out, please do. That fantastic segmented front hackle is a from under the wing on my cape. Probably my favorite feather to tie with. Cheers.

I also very much like and use your dry fly hackle under the wet fly as a prop. I incorporated it into almost all of my wet flies. Thanks.

Good work Brian. I’m right there with you in admiring (read envying) Grahame’s methods/skills. @southfb You make me need to find more still water trout so I can use your patterns more often.
